Matthias Vallentin is a doctoral student in computer science at UC Berkeley. He is also a research scientist with the networking and security group at the International Computer Science Institute (ICSI). His research concerns network security, with an applied focus on designing distributed systems for large-scale network forensics and high-performance network monitoring.
